About me
As a white, middle-aged, educated, English, male atheist – cishet and vanilla – I freely admit I'm rolling in privilege. Basically, I'm undetectable in the M&S Men’s department, although I'm not seeing myself in my poly Instagram feed.
Much of my righteous, leftie ire I draw from the Guardian, and although predictably nerdy and techie, I'm not particularly into board games or superheroes.
After more than ten years of monogamous marriage on the clock, I shifted over to solo polyamory in late 2021. It's been a learning experience, and I'm compelled to share the wisdom I have acquired – true to my privileged identity above.
So far, it feels like successfully juggling multiple relationships is just about communication, consent, respect and time management. There's actually a lot more complexity to monogamy, so I spend a lot of time poking at that.
Disclosure: Salvatore Blix is blatantly a pen name. I use spell-checkers to catch my typos and wield AI to refine the overall quality of my writing.
